Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. By using our services, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions:

American King Limo, LLC highly recommend to our clients to reserve a car ahead of time (at no additional charge) to be guaranteed a car at time of pick up. American King Limo, LLC will honor any/all reservations you make online no less than 12 hours before the pick-up time. Our company will also provide a car at a short notice by phone upon availability. All reservations confirmed via email are guaranteed pick-up. We cannot guarantee you availability when you call with a short notice time. 

No Shows:

If you do not see your driver at a prearranged pick up location, please do not leave before the number shown on your confirmation is confirmed. Upon arriving at your designated airport or any pick up location selected on reservation, let our office know of your arrival. Our operator will let you know where our driver will be picking you up. After the scheduled pickup time the driver will call our office, we will try to reach you by calling the provided number. If we do not get a response, we will then release the car and you will be billed for a No Show which is the full price of the ride. If you do not see the driver at a prearranged pick up location, please do not leave before calling our office or the number shown on you confirmation. If you fail to notify or leave without calling our office you will be billed for the full price of the ride.  If we do not hear from you, the driver will wait up to 15 minutes at regular pickups and up to 30 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights at inside airport pickups. After the scheduled pickup time the driver will call our office, we will try to reach you by calling the provided number. If you authorize the waiting time the driver will wait up to 2 hours. If we do not hear from you after the time frame, we will contact you again if no contact is made you will get billed for the ride plus the waiting time. A "No Show" fee is equal to the trip cost PLUS applicable wait time fee that will be charged when the passenger fails to arrive at the designated location. If you cannot locate your Driver call the number on your confirmation immediately to avoid the "No Show" fee.

Wait Time:

A 30 minute for domestic (1 hr. International) grace period is allowed following the reported flight arrival time for Inside Pickups only when Meet & Greet Service is requested. A 15-minute grace period is granted for all other pick-ups. Waiting time will be charged at 15 minute increments. We monitor all domestic and international flights, billing starts after grace period allowed from the official time of arrival (ETA). Train station pick-ups, train schedules cannot be monitored. Billing begins at the scheduled pick-up time.

Stops:

American King Limo, LLC charges $15.00 for stops made within the same route. $20.00 for stops made in 5 miles within the route of destination. If there are any courtesy stops, such as briefly leaving the vehicle to pick up coffee, a newspaper or to mail a letter, American King Limo, LLC will not apply extra charges. We will monitor longer stops or multiple stops to which you will be billed for stopping charges. Picking up additional passengers will also incur stop charges. Some restrictions and special cases may apply.

Damages Resulting from Your Act:

American King Limo, LLC will charge you (as a client) or (as a passenger) the cost of cleaning (minimum $250 and up) the vehicle as result of you or your authorized party getting sick in the car. You also acknowledge and agree to pay all related fees and charges to get the vehicle back to its normal working condition. You agree to pay for all and any damages TO OUR VEHICLES ARISING OUT OF, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOU OR YOUR AUTHORIZED PARTY, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED ON CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, TORT OR OTHER THEORIES OF LIABILITY AND ALSO REGARDLESS OF WHETHER American King Limo, LLC, WAS GIVEN ACTUAL OR CONSTRUCTIVE NOTICE THAT DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE. Including but not limited to burned seats, any technical or mechanical failure to equipment inside vehicle, missing items, or any damages to the outside of the vehicle during your or your authorized party accommodations.

Disputes:

Individual accounts and personal profiles and all charges applied to the customer's credit card will be considered correct. Unless we receive a written objection within 15 days from the charge date in writing. Copies of the credit card statement or credit card slips should be faxed or mailed to our office and the disputed charges or items should be clearly indicated. All disputes initiated after the allowed time frame period will be considered final and none refundable.

All disputes should be forwarded to our billing department in writing and you are entitled not to pay the disputed amount until resolved. Email to Info@americankinglimo.com. You might also be entitled for a refund if our investigation results in the disputed amount.

Prices/Fees:

American King Limo, LLC will charge the standard 10% non-negotiable service fee on the total bill for ALL non-corporate clients. This fee includes state and federal taxes as well as credit card deductions and other miscellaneous fees. Unless otherwise stipulated, the respective current price list of American King Limo, LLC, shall apply as matter of principle. Unless otherwise agreed, the prices shall be exclusive of any ancillary expenses incurred within the scope of the agreement. In particular, this includes parking fees, toll charges, as well as any advanced expenses ordered by the Client or by transported persons within the scope of the service. Unless otherwise noted, American King Limo, LLC shall be bound by the prices in its offers for three days as of the offer date. Prices listed by American King Limo, LLC in the booking confirmation plus a 20% gratuity applicable. Additional services will be charged separately.

Cancellations, Cancellations of Partial Services:

The Client may at any time cancel bookings or utilize only partial services. In that case, American King Limo, LLC will charge flat cancellation fees in the amount of:

For Sedans, SUVs, Limousines and Mini Vans with up to 8 guest seats:

25 % of the agreed price for cancellations up to 24-48  hrs., before the beginning of the contractual period
50% of the agreed price within 12-24  hrs. before the beginning of the contractual period    
100% of the agreed price on cancelations within 2 hrs., or if vehicle and chauffeur are already on location

For Stretch Limo, Mini Busses, VIP Busses and Motor coaches with more then 9 guest seats:

10% cancellation fee up to 14 days before the beginning of the contractual period
25 % of the agreed price between 13 days up to 6 days before the beginning of the contractual period
50% of the agreed price between 5 days up to 2 days before the beginning of the contractual period
100% of the agreed price on cancelations within 24 hrs., or if vehicle and chauffeur are already on location

Relevant for the time of the cancellation shall be the time the cancellation is received by American King Limo, LLC. Cancellations are basically accepted from Monday through Friday between 9 A.M. and 10 P.M. If received after 10 P.M., the following work day shall be deemed the cancellation date.

2) The Client is at liberty to prove that American King Limo, LLC suffered no damages at all or only to a significantly lower extent.

Holidays Surcharges:

Holiday and Severe Weather surcharge, may require minimum amount of hours regardless of destination. Surcharges will be charged to all trips occurring on:

New Year's Day and Eve, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Preakness (Baltimore only), Christmas Day and eve, July 4th, and Thanksgiving Day.

Payment and Invoices:

American King Limo, LLC accepts all major credit cards (American Express, Master, Visa, Discover). Cash payment in advance or directly in the car is also possible, an invoice will be sent by mail to the client upon request. Payments are usually made after the issue of an invoice which will be sent to the client's address which has been stated before the conclusion of the agreement. Payments are due one week after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise agreed. Invoices are due by check, credit card, debit card to one of the bank accounts specified on the invoice, or to be collected upon delivery by collection-only check. American King Limo, LLC may request a deposit in the amount of up to 50 % of the expected sales volume before the beginning of the service.

In case of default, American King Limo, LLC shall be entitled to withdraw from all agreements that have not yet been performed. If the contracting party makes complaints or counterclaims, it shall only be entitled to offsetting, retention or reduction, if such counterclaims have been determined to be legally binding or are undisputed.

Offers made by American King Limo, LLC are subject to confirmation and without obligation. Declarations of acceptance and all bookings must be confirmed by American King Limo, LLC to be legally effective. The same applies to amendments, modifications or subsidiary agreements.

Note: Employees/Drivers of American King Limo, LLC are not authorized to make verbal subsidiary agreements or verbal promises that exceed the content of the written agreement.
